In their words
Which schools suit what your child loves?
Search for a sport, instrument, subject or worry to see which Brisbane schools people mention it at, and what they said. Tick up to three schools to compare them.
1 school where people talk about subjects and senior pathways (with your filters).

How we work these numbers out
- Order. “Best match” puts schools where your exact word comes up first. “Most talked about” uses the share of reviews that mention it. Neither is a ranking of how good a school is.
- Comes up in X% of reviews is the share of the school's reviews that mention your search. The Brisbane average is the same share across all Brisbane schools.
- Speak well, mixed or raise concerns is worked out by software, using only the sentences about your search. It's right most of the time but not always, so read what people said.
- What students did comes from the sports and activities former students ticked in their review. We show it when at least 3 answered.
- Evidence is strong when 5 or more of at least 10 reviews mention it, some when 2 or more people do, and thin when only one person does.
- Facts such as fees, ATAR and enrolments come from each school's own documents. Fees cover different year levels at different schools, so compare carefully.
- Open Day Reflections come from our visits to 2026 open days. They're useful, but they reflect the school's own voice.

Review Year 12 subject choices
I do wish i tried harder as i never thought id want to go uni and just wanted to be a sparky but having the opportunity to go uni wouldve been good and i likely will go to uni id probably stick to economics and focus instead of switching to arts cause i wanted easier schooling

Review Subject range and curiosity
Wasnt great with alot of subjects being on the same time so you would have to choose between the two with what you wanted to do more
Review Year 12 subject choices
Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, General English, General Maths, Music. I love my subjects I chose accounting out of curiosity and potential career choice (which I am now pursuing), I did the sciences because I was interested and the experiments we did were interesting, did music bc i liked it because we get to compose music/do performances for assessments and English and math were compulsory
Review Subject range and curiosity
It was adequately diverse however due to school timetables and teacher quantity, in senior year you will have to pick one subject over the other as classes can overlap each other. In terms of activities we would do science experiments or have excursions to bring in some practicality. Occasionally we would do charitable events and dress up for gold coin donations
Review What had the biggest impact
The biggest impact I had was from the cohort I was in. It’s important to consider who you will surround yourself with. I managed to stick with individuals that cared about grades thus I also tried my best to excel. I will say on the other hand the school provides the opportunity to be able to do certificates from tafe or another place and diplomas in senior year is really nice. they also had a job board for students to see if there are any places looking for students
