How we work these numbers out
  • Order. “Best match” puts schools where your exact word comes up first. “Most talked about” uses the share of reviews that mention it. Neither is a ranking of how good a school is.
  • Comes up in X% of reviews is the share of the school's reviews that mention your search. The Brisbane average is the same share across all Brisbane schools.
  • Speak well, mixed or raise concerns is worked out by software, using only the sentences about your search. It's right most of the time but not always, so read what people said.
  • What students did comes from the sports and activities former students ticked in their review. We show it when at least 3 answered.
  • Evidence is strong when 5 or more of at least 10 reviews mention it, some when 2 or more people do, and thin when only one person does.
  • Facts such as fees, ATAR and enrolments come from each school's own documents. Fees cover different year levels at different schools, so compare carefully.
  • Open Day Reflections come from our visits to 2026 open days. They're useful, but they reflect the school's own voice.

    Review Year 12 subject choices

chem bio physics math methods general english - i wish our school offered literature (general english had speeches and speeched were NOT my strong part, i feel like i wouldve performed wayyyy better in literature) psychology (distance ed) (i used to do specialist math but it was too hard in distance ed, i wish there was an in person class that i probably wouldve stayed in.

    Review Subject range and curiosity

no i school did not offer enough subject choices and it made it very difficult to explore diverse interests. probably the subject which brought out the most 'real' me as in i wasnt conpleting asignments and exams by the marking guide i was doing it out of interest and what I wanted to write about was english. i loved the stories we would write for the exams as well as conparing texts/perspectives (i dtill write stories to this day) also psychology was pretty interesting however it was distanxe education so im not sure if it counts

    Review Year 12 subject choices

math methods, biology, chem, physics, general english and modern history. We didn’t have many subjects, so this was the best way to get the highest atar.

    Review Subject range and curiosity

No, we didn’t have many subjects at all, only the main ones. We didn’t have enough facilities to support that. The teachers were great at going off what little we had

    Review Would you recommend it?

I recommend this school as the community was great, the location was great, and as the school is rather small - its so much easier to talk to the teachers to get around. However the only drawback to smaller school like everton park was that not all classes were offered in person, and as a result to do subjects with less demand you must go online - although it doesnt sound like the biggest issue, i feel as though i wouldnt of dropped specialist math if the classes were in person.

Reviews come from parents and former students whose link to the school we've checked. Open Day Reflections come from our recordings at 2026 open days. Words in [brackets] were unclear, and […] marks a skipped part. They reflect the school's own voice, so read them alongside the reviews. How reviews work
