Which schools suit what your child loves?
Search for a sport, instrument, subject or worry to see which Brisbane schools people mention it at, and what they said. Tick up to three schools to compare them.

How we work these numbers out
- Order. “Best match” puts schools where your exact word comes up first. “Most talked about” uses the share of reviews that mention it. Neither is a ranking of how good a school is.
- Comes up in X% of reviews is the share of the school's reviews that mention your search. The Brisbane average is the same share across all Brisbane schools.
- Speak well, mixed or raise concerns is worked out by software, using only the sentences about your search. It's right most of the time but not always, so read what people said.
- What students did comes from the sports and activities former students ticked in their review. We show it when at least 3 answered.
- Evidence is strong when 5 or more of at least 10 reviews mention it, some when 2 or more people do, and thin when only one person does.
- Facts such as fees, ATAR and enrolments come from each school's own documents. Fees cover different year levels at different schools, so compare carefully.
- Open Day Reflections come from our visits to 2026 open days. They're useful, but they reflect the school's own voice.

Review Readiness for life after school
I felt quite prepared, especially in grade 12 many teachers would share their own stories from university, giving advice on maintaining study skills and how the shift can be quite jarring. The school was very supportive of pathways outside of university as well such as Tafe and apprenticeships.

Review Year 12 subject choices
Math Methods Physics English English Extension Legal Studies Economics Spanish I was good at the humanities, and had prepared to study mathematics and economics which i now do at university. I would've changed instead to study specialist maths, but it wasn't a big deal. No regrets.
Review Getting extra help
During exam blocks, teachers in maths and science had after school tutoring available for students' pressing questions. English and humanities teachers were always keen to look over feedback and were always welcoming for students to discuss their work. Numeracy and literacy programs were available in year 11 to prepare us for year 12 Most importantly, teachers believed in their students. They knew when to be serious to tell us to get our head in the game, but also kind enough to be encouraging. They were all about student learning and always aimed to help out students in every aspect.
Review Readiness for life after school
I did not feel prepared for life, but that's not really the point of highschool, and who is really feeling prepared right after high school? I was confident that i had what it took to achieve what i want to achieve in university. I sought feedback, maintained my routine, and persevered through work, study and social activities which was a balance i learned from highschool. The school for sure prepared me to have that balance and be able to do multiple things consistently.
