In their words
Which schools suit what your child loves?
Search for a sport, instrument, subject or worry to see which Brisbane schools people mention it at, and what they said. Tick up to three schools to compare them.
1 school where people talk about sport (with your filters).

How we work these numbers out
- Order. “Best match” puts schools where your exact word comes up first. “Most talked about” uses the share of reviews that mention it. Neither is a ranking of how good a school is.
- Comes up in X% of reviews is the share of the school's reviews that mention your search. The Brisbane average is the same share across all Brisbane schools.
- Speak well, mixed or raise concerns is worked out by software, using only the sentences about your search. It's right most of the time but not always, so read what people said.
- What students did comes from the sports and activities former students ticked in their review. We show it when at least 3 answered.
- Evidence is strong when 5 or more of at least 10 reviews mention it, some when 2 or more people do, and thin when only one person does.
- Facts such as fees, ATAR and enrolments come from each school's own documents. Fees cover different year levels at different schools, so compare carefully.
- Open Day Reflections come from our visits to 2026 open days. They're useful, but they reflect the school's own voice.

Review Coaching and chances to compete
I did t do it at a competitive place but it was cool and with the competitive ones they had training before school, after school and even some during weekends so that would've been good for them.tge other students were also coached during their classes but imorubing the general students skill wasn't super encouraged, the elites though we're very much encouraged and it did help them win a bunch.

Review Coaching and chances to compete
Our school is certainly not a sport-first school when compared to other high schools. However, for those who wanted to pursue their sport, they were supported greatly, with some teachers setting up clubs or extra-curricular classes to play. HPE classes were ran very well too, where no student was left behind.
Review Getting extra help
As I said before teachers were super accesable, you could ask them during class to come to throwing and they would almost always be obliging if they didn't have prior plans, again the after school tutoring is completely free. And peer feedback was very plentiful and engaged, we did so in each class essentially in a weekly basis.
Review Would you recommend it?
Yes, whilst it is growing now, it had a small, community-like feel to it that made it feel like everyone was cared for. Although it was a small school, it had the size and feel like it was a large one.
Review School culture
The schools culture was super chill and relaxed lunch time showed that as students were all in their own worlds doing what they want and not causing havok you'd have small groups big groups chill groups and the competitive sports groups on the oval, there was a group for everyone.
