Our Mission, Vision and Values

Choosing the right school for a child is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. Yet, for so many families, the process is filled with uncertainty. Open days and glossy brochures only tell part of the story, leaving parents wondering what the school is really like—academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a parent, I experienced this challenge firsthand. I wanted a school that would not only support academic success but also nurture my child’s confidence, friendships, and personal growth. However, I found that real, unfiltered insights from families who had already been there were hard to find.

That’s why I created this platform—to bring together authentic, verified reviews from parents, students, and teachers who know the schools best. Our goal is to empower parents with real insights so they can confidently choose the right school for their child’s success, well-being, and future.

Because when it comes to education, parents shouldn’t have to guess. They deserve the full picture.

What real families are saying

Updated 7 April 2025

Dear parent who just wants to get this right,

We know what’s at stake.

You’re not just picking a school.

You’re shaping your child’s future.

And that can feel overwhelming.

Because this isn’t just about test scores or polished tours.

It’s about finding a place where your child feels safe, supported, and inspired to grow.

Will they be challenged in the right way?

Will someone notice if they’re struggling?

Will they feel like they belong?

I ask myself those same questions.

As a parent, I’ve been searching for answers too.

My child will be heading to school soon, and I wanted more than glossy brochures and school rankings.

I wanted honest insights from people who’ve actually been there.

So I built this platform.

Not just to compare schools, but to uncover the full picture.

To share verified stories from parents and recent high school graduates.

Because what we really want is simple.

A school where our kids can thrive.

A place that aligns with our values.

A community that prepares them not just for exams, but for life.

Behind every school is a story.

We’re here to help you find the one that fits yours.

Warmly,

The School Insights Team

Verified reviews for peace of mind

Anyone can post a review on Google. We don’t work like that. Every review here is verified using student ID cards, senior jerseys, or other proof that confirms a real connection to the school.

Recent reviews from people who know

Our reviews are from recent grads and parents, not old memories or hearsay. That way, you’re choosing based on what’s true now, not what was true twenty years ago.

Find the school that fits your child

It’s not just about top rankings or what’s nearby. It’s about choosing a place where your child feels supported, understood, and excited to learn.

Frequently asked questions

You have questions, we have answers.

How do you verify that the reviews are real?

Every review is submitted by a real parent or student, and we require verification using school-specific items like student ID cards, senior jerseys, or other non-copiable proof. We don’t accept anonymous or unverified submissions.

Who are the reviews written by?

Our reviews come from current parents and recent graduates with firsthand experience. You’ll get perspectives that are honest, relevant, and recent—unlike the second-hand stories you hear from friends of friends.

How many schools are covered?

We’re starting with most of the major high schools across Brisbane and adding more every week. If you don’t see your school yet, there’s a good chance it’s coming soon—or you can request it.

How much does it cost to access the reviews?

We’re still finalising pricing, but we expect full access to cost less than 1% of what you’ll spend on your child’s education. You can join the waitlist for free today to see sample reviews and be the first to know when we launch.

Can I trust what’s written in the reviews?

Yes. Every review is checked for authenticity, and we don’t allow schools or outside parties to influence the content. These are unfiltered stories from people who have walked the path you’re on now.

Why not just rely on school rankings or open days?

Open days and test results only tell part of the story. They won’t show you how students actually feel at school, how issues are handled, or whether the environment is a good fit for your child. That’s where our reviews come in.

Is this platform independent?

Yes. We are not affiliated with any schools, education groups, or government departments. Our only priority is helping parents make confident, informed decisions.
